Excuse me, but are there wheel marks on my butt?

Oh my word talk about falling off the wagon! I not only fell off the wagon, I got ran over by a wheel and then dragged behind for miles and miles. I have succumbed to social media. In the form of Facebook and Pinterest (have you met Pinterest yet? If not, welcome to your new addiction!) and even Instagram...but not Twitter- never Twitter...I'm not a 'tweeter." And really, I only typed that because it made me laugh saying it. Anywho...because of my social media addiction (I use that term lightly) this blog has not seen the light of my laptop for sometime. Almost 2 years. YIKES. But in all honesty...my life is not so exciting that I need a blog to keep up with it. HOWEVER...my brother, one of the main reasons I started a blog in the first place (He is not a facebooker, pinner or tweeter) is going overseas to Afghanistan, and this little page keeps him updated on his sisters boring life, crazy ideas, and niece and nephews antics and the limits of his brother in laws patience. My parents, bless their hearts are also not into social media (well truth be told, Dad isn't and we don't know if Mom can be trusted with it...She'd probably go to reply to a message I send her and quote something snarky I said and broadcast it to all of facebook via an update b/c her settings were public and not personal. Love you Mom, but you're laughing to yourself right now picturing it happening...admit it!) And honestly? It's therapeutic. Writing is a great stress reliever and MUCH cheaper than therapy! So yes, long story short (really? really Shell was it? I think an "I'm back. Accept it and rejoice with me" may have sufficed). I want to start the blog back up. But don't expect very much (not that you did in the past for which I thank you!). I'm hoping to keep it and then maybe print it out, and the kids can see Mom did pay attention. And I didn't just facebook the funny stuff.I'm keeping it for prosperity here, and let's be honest...to possibly use against them in the future- Kels is a teen and Colin is 10 so they are going to be doing some pretty dumb stuff (and I'm not exactly Mom of the year here- I'll do my share of dumb stuff). But really the dumb stuff makes for the best stories don't you think?
