The kids were eating lunch today. On the table is a book I just finished...Stori Telling...Yes it's by Tori Spelling....don't judge, just read it! ANYWHO...Kelsey picked it up and said "What's this about?" Before I could open my mouth...Colin quips: "A Hot Girl."
"WHAT did you just say?" I ask, jaw dropping to the floor...he smirks b/c he knows he said something that in a few minutes I will have found VERY amusing (you KNOW I'm not the average mom, why are you so surprised?) Yes, I heard him right
"A Hot Girl."
Now one has to wonder...do I talk to the 6 year old boy about this statement or just let it go and blog about it b/c let's face it....it WAS amusing.
As if you didn't know what I'd do!
I'll let Rob handle the other talk later, although if I know him; his talk will go something like this "You're right Col. That is a hot girl."

The boys in this house have been known to spout out the word HOTTIE as they pass a pretty girl in the mall. You think, well, they ARE getting to that age. No, no, no, they have been doing that since they were all toddlers! To top it all off I lost, okay, didn't lose, temporarily lost sight of Aaron & Evan a few months ago. Know how I found them? I hear "squishy, squishy" followed by loads of giggles. They were squishing the padded bras!!! About that time, I turned around and said, "young men, where is YOUR mother?" LOL
I see you've made some changes to your blog. Rearranged some things, added our husband's pic to the profile...oh yah...and You TOTALLY BORROWED, STOLE, COPIED MY LINE: "who writes this stuff"!!!

LOL...I was editing the bog and I typed that and thought "That is so familiar...where have I seen it?" It was a pure blonde moment! I saw yours and was like Oh yeah, well, she won't mind...Like Jess says, Everyone should have a Christy in their lives. Consider it my homage to you!
