A Birthday Conversation With Kelsey

Happy Birthday Baby Girl! I know,I know, you're "Double Digits" now, but no matter how old you are~ you will ALWAYS be my Baby Girl.

Last night Kelsey and I had a conversation...I was all teary because Kelsey is turning 10. TEN. 10 years ago this little being came into the world and stole my heart. So I was joking that I'll cry it out tonight, so that I can just be happy and celebrate tomorrow.

Kelsey asked," Are you sad because I'm getting older, or are you sad because you realize you're getting older?"

Well thanks for putting that in perspective.

While we're on the birthday note, I'd also like to take this moment to wish my Dad a very Happy Birthday! I won't say how old he is...but he's in the double digits too :o) Love you Dad!

Here's wishing Kelsey and her Pop-Pop both a very Happy Birthday! all of our lives were brighter when Kelsey was born, and if Mike had any thoughts of not being madly in love with his granddaughter, when she chose his birthday to come in to this world, he was done! And it has been history ever since. Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop dote on their grandchildren! Enjoy your special day.
Love, Elaine and Keith

Kelsey, WOW!! The big 1-0, huh?!?! The first lesson you must learn is that even though you get older each year, your Mom doesn't! If you practice that rule and repeat it to Mommy each year then you are certain to receive more GIFTS!!!

You are truly a wonderful young lady who brings much joy and pride to your family. I hope you and your Pop-Pop have a very special birthday!

Love,
Your Mom's friend, Julie

P.S.--Go give your Mom a hug for me, I know she can use it.;)
