A conversation with Colin

Colin and I were in Target when a friend texted me about a buck he had recently taken down while hunting. 
Colin asked how so I told him.

And then....

Then, my innocent little 11 year old proceeded to expound on the virtues of  crossbows vs. standard Bow & arrows for hunting.

He  then told me he's a pre-teen now and I "should expect these things".


I was not expecting that at all. 

But thanks little man for the  information and I'm pretty sure  the man in the toothpaste aisle who got a look at my face as you "lectured" me also thanks you for his laugh...that he tried very hard to disguise as coughing.
