When Mom and Dad arrived at my house for a weekend a week ago the floor looked like this:
But after an afternoon of some measuring, sawing, and cursing(Rob not Dad)our floor now look like this:
They just did the entry and hallway, as the kitchen was done 2 years ago. My only gripe was that this flooring didn't match our kitchen, but as that was discontinued, I was out of luck. After it went down, I decided I actually love it!
The dog? Not so much. She is still trying to run on it and her legs go and go and go, but she gets nowhere. I'm sure the novelty of it will wear off when she scratches the floor, but for now- it provides me with amusement to no end :o)

The floor came out great - contrast in the flooring is a good thing ! Hope Caydance gets used to it soon - poor thing ! !
