Oh the things Kids say...

First a Colin funny:

We were in the car this morning talking about Obama being here last night (He was at the college 1 mile away. Kelsey asked where the college is...Now to get the full effect, you had to hear the way she asked it...In this voice that you just KNEW she knew the answer to her own question (plus the fact we drive by it approximately 4 times a week!), but she was pretending she didn't (this happens often and I don't like it). I took this as an opportunity for Rob to tell her boys like smart girls.

So I asked Rob: "Do boys like smart girls or dumb girls?"

Colin pipes up from the backseat: "We like pretty girls!"

For the record~ Kelsey likes her boys cute and dumb. (that is a direct quote).

This afternoon a Kelsey funny~ With elections upon us, the school is taking the opportunity to teach the kids about the election process, campaigning, the candidates, etc, but we also explained to Kelsey that there is a "Write in" option (This is pertinent to the upcoming conversation).

Kelsey: "Mom, who did you vote for?"

Mom (as I am now apparently called): "I voted for Barbie."

Kelsey: "She's not eligible, she's made in China."
