Think before you speak...Sounds easy enough, right? Not always my friend...but it can be done. Just ask Kelsey, her little mouth works much faster than her big brain and she is just learning to censor herself. I know, Mom and Dad, I know...my big mouth usually works faster than my little brain and I too speak before I think (at least Kels comes by it honestly right?).
Last night we were out front talking to the new neighbors (a few houses down on the other side). We were chatting about the neighborhood (only good stuff...see you want to move to NC), and the topic turned to the house. He asked how we were doing, uh well it's still for sale, so how do you think (I thought to myself...see...thinking before I speak!) .
We told him how happy we were with this realtor and we're getting showings (no lie, she is getting us tons of showings, but alas, still no offers). THEN new neighbor guy proceeds to tell us "I probably shouldn't tell you this, but we were going to put in an offer on your house." Gee, I just gained a pound [back of the 6 I recently lost] would you like to talk about that and maybe kick me a little harder while I'm down?
Turns out he was one of the first showings we had and he wanted the house but the wife didn't like the tile in the bathroom ( she doesn't like cold tile under her feet)...buy some slippers! Whatever.
The conversation then turned to DIY projects and what they want to change about the house they just bought. She wants to remove all the wallpaper. Perhaps now would have been a good time to tell them that the previous owner put up the wall paper for a reason...but no, I decided to think before I spoke and just nodded and smiled...the slippers would have been a much cheaper investment in the end :)

Tell her you will buy her a rug! Like tile is a reason to not buy a house!!
I know (say it like Monica)! And it's awesome (ceramic) tile, if I do say so myself.
WHAT? Are you kidding me? I want to smack that woman silly!
So, what does it look like under that wallpaper?
From what I understand she should have had new sheetrock hung; but wall papered over it instead...so that bad.
