Merry Christmas! I hope all of you had as wonderful a Christmas as we did.
The kids are thrilled with all they received and we were told it was "The best Christmas ever!" Which would be gift enough except Colin sort of topped that. For Christmas he gave me a letter. In it he thanked us for giving him a nice home and lots of care. He promised to love us forever.
If that doesn't warm your heart, I don't know what will!

Caydie cracked us up this year by throughly enjoying her morning. She helped Kelsey open her gifts and played with the wrapping paper and attacked her new bed...which turned out to be more of a pillow for our big girl!
Christmas night was spent with a houseful of family and friends. My parents arrived on Christmas morning,Our favorite neighbor MacGuyver, his daughter, and girlfriend came over. My Gram, aunt, uncle and cousins came and the kids had a BLAST. It was so nice to see everyone and it's moments like these that make us happy we're family!
Christmas Night also gave us something NC hasn't seen on a December 25th since 1947 (not that I was around to see that one either!), but WE GOT SNOW! On Christmas!
NOW...y'all know I don't like snow. Not more than a flurry, but there is something magical about snow on Christmas and I loved it as much as the kids did. Of course, I also wasn't going anywhere in it, so that might have added to the loving feeling this year

Wasn't it amazing Shell? I just loved it....now it can go and if I never see it again, that's fine too. Looks and sounds like you all had a wonderful Christmas. Happy New year.
