The dog hates the vacuum. Well it is more a love/hate relationship. See she pretends to hate it when I vacuum the floors then she loves it when I vacuum her (what? You don't vacuum your dog?).Then she pretends to hate me for the next 5 minutes after I'm done.
I colored Easter eggs for the first time in 3 years with my kids. How did I get out of it the last 3 years you ask? Simple, my Mom does it. She likes it and who am I to begrudge her that? This year I wanted to experiment with food coloring, so I declared it MY YEAR to color. Loved it too. Until I realized neon blue food coloring is NOT your friend. 3 days later it all finally left my nails. But we did get some wonderfully bright eggs, see?
Kels even did a special one for Uncle Scott which I am sorry to report will NOT be hidden to be found by him when he returns home in August.
The kids took a vacation from us. They went to Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop's for a week. Rob also took some time off work. I made him work around the house instead :) We did yard work and he fixed the wall I tore apart a few months ago when we had a leak- it's good as new now, well, except for this one tiny little spot....But we won't talk about that. Note: Rob now needs a vacation from his vacation.
We headed out to my parents on Thursday and we went to the beach on Saturday~

After reviewing some of the pictures that was the day I also decided I am putting my a$$ on a diet. So don't expect to see me in any pictures until July at the earliest! But that in itself is a WHOLE nother post (hey maybe I won't be such a blogging slacker after all!)

Rob does need a vacation from his vacation - he even worked here helping dad upstairs - forget about that ? Bet he didn't. By the way - - - - hope his leg is feeling better !

I'm also having Blogger Blog, frustrating. I write little blogs in my mind during the day, but they never seem to make it to the keyboard.
You vacuum your dog? I'm impressed.
haha...Deb I do mind blogging too, but it doesn't make it to the computer! Don't be overly impressed...I only vacuumed the dog b/c she was following me around barking at it, so I took the hose and let her sniff it (thinking she'd get her nose stuck and then back off) nope not so much, turned out she liked it and since she is a short haired shedder, this seems to keep most of the fur off my curtains and floor.
Which attachment works best? This could work.
The little one with a brush (I have a Bissell Liftoff Revolution). I use the brush or sometimes just run the hose over her if she just happens to be standing there.
It doesn't solve all the dog hair dilemma, but it helps she is a shedder and my curtains hold most of the proof, but now there is less of it (Oh and a little olive oil in her food helps too~ 2 tsps twice a week). That is Rob's thing. He read it somewhere and claims it works, I see the proof in the vacuum, so who knows who is right (say, me, you know you can say me!)
