A little history on our particular Magic Bullet... We have owned it for 3 years. Rob's Uncle went through a serious infomercial phase a few years ago, hence the Magic Bullet Christmas gift. We only use it for Milk shakes. I'm not kidding. I know it does a myriad of all different things, but we have never used it for more than shakes (Honestly I keep forgetting we have it!), so it has been used ah, 6 times perhaps, in 3 years. apparently this little of use meant Rob had no reason to commit HOW to use it to memory.
This is, as you know is Rob's Birthday weekend, so we celebrated with some beers(Okay alot of beer) yesterday. Last night Rob was in the mood for a milkshake. Well use the magic bullet my friend!
As with any blender there is a base:

There are the little "blades" (if you know the correct term for the mixey part of it, feel free to e-mail me it):

And then there is a cup/mug that you twist on so that you can make individual shakes (I know, cool right?!):

The idea is that you put your milk and ice cream into the cup, attach the blade mixey thingie and THEN put it onto the base. This was not the case last night. Last night Rob, instead of asking "Hey Shell, how does this thing work again?" decides to give it a go himself....forgetting the blade part of it. So basically he got his ice cream and milk in the cup and flipped the cup onto the base. What did that get him? A big mess~ all over base, counter and floor. "Hey Babe, how does this thing work?" Was the next sound to be heard...among some chuckling...his chuckling by the way. Not so much mine. After we cleaned up the mess (and it was A MESS) and my smacking my forehead for not taking a picture of that, Rob turned to me very serious and said "You're going to blog this aren't you?" Well Duh.
Again...Happy Birthday Babe!
